LEAMINGTON, Ontario, Canada, October 31, 2006 – Independent test results confirmed today that Reflex, the only spray-on truck liner that effectively grips and protects cargo, is the safest product available on the market. In response to recent concerns about exposure to isocyantes (MDI), a common ingredient in chemistry used by the spray-on truck liner industry, Reflex commissioned an independent laboratory to conduct tests of the Reflex spray equipment, chemistry and Truck Liner Workstation. The tests were conducted using the OSHA-47 test method, the primary method used by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) for monitoring the spray-on truck liner industry to determine MDI levels. Reflex was tested for airborne MDI levels within and immediately outside of the Reflex Truck Liner Workstation. Test results showed Reflex produced minute traces of MDI, well below the personal exposure limit (PEL) threshold designated by OSHA, as nearly all MDI was effectively eliminated from within the Workstation.
