In business since 1954, Langeman Manufacturing Ltd. began as a machine repair and welding shop, evolving as a high-tech manufacturer of machinery, chemicals, and industrial products. New company headquarters are located on the original property in Leamington, a diverse community in southern Ontario, along the shoreline of Lake Erie.

The founder, Peter Langeman, was a Ford mechanic who, in 1954 sold his gas station and garage to begin a new business and career that produced numerous inventions. Over a span of 30 years, an untold number of machines were designed and manufactured for the automation of farms and factories across Canada and the United States.
