Polyurea Hybrid Chemistry

Gardit polyurea hybrid chemistry has a stellar, eight-year track record of consistent, trouble-free performance.

Thick & Tough

Gardit spray-on truck bed liner chemical material is spray-applied between 1/8" and 1/4" thick forming a watertight, durable truck bedliner for demanding, every-day use. It won't crack, peel or warp and permanently protects your truckbed from abrasion and rust.

This high-end elastomeric polymer will spray out in high humidity without the use of a moisture combative molecular sieve, a talc-like powder found in many older formulations yet still used by many spray-on systems.

Polyurethane, Polyurea & Hybrid Polyurea Chemistry

Urethanes are formed by the reaction between an isocyanate (A side) and a polyol (B side) and is by far the leader in flexibility, abrasion resistance, and temperature range.

Ureas are formed by the reaction between an isocyanate (A side) and an amine (B side) and presents an advantage for hard coatings applied in humid conditions using high-pressure equipment.

Polyurea hybrids (such as Gardit 823) are formed similarly using a combination of the two, taking the flexibility and abrasion resistance characteristics of polyurethanes and teaming it with polyurea's ability to apply in humid conditions.

Environmentally Friendly

Gardit 823 comprises 100% solids and does not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or produce flammable vapors.

Ready to Use

Gardit 823 develops a tack-free surface in just two minutes and can be trimmed immediately. The actual preparation and professional application of a Gardit spray-on truck bed liner requires just a few hours, after which it is ready for light-use immediately and heavy hauling after 24 hours.

Long-lasting, Brilliant Color

With Gardit proprietary chemistry, the use of readily available automotive colorants makes color matching a breeze, resulting in superior gloss, color retention and UV stability, all without an additional topcoat.

Easy Storage

At only 45 pounds per container, Gardit chemicals are easy to handle in the standard 5-gallon buckets and are factory sealed for quality. By contrast, most competitor’s systems are shipped in 55-gallon steel barrels weighing more than 450 pounds each. They require heavy barrel handling, mixing and transfer equipment. Even worse, steel barrels are difficult and expensive to dispose of properly.

The compact shipping method and various shipping packages allow you to purchase only the amount of material you require, without the waste.
